$3 Dove Deal for $6 Register Rewards at Walgreens - Myth vs Reality? An Urban Coupon Legend.

Is There Really a Dove $3.03 MoneyMaker at Walgreens?

Over the past couple of days I have received many emails and read many blog posts saying that Walgreens has a tremendous Dove deal where you spend $2.97 and get $6 Register Rewards by purchasing 3 single bars of Dove soap using the coupon from the weekly flyer (99¢ for Dove single).  There is a deal this week for Buy 3 Dove and Get $6 Register Rewards, but it specifies which products and the single bar is not on there.

Nevertheless, I was curious enough to head out to two Walgreens to see what would happen.

DID NOT WORK !  

Therefore, I have to go with 'myth' or  urban coupon legend.
