Publix: New Twist on the Ragu BOGO + B2G1 + Dreamfield's Pasta

Lots of folks are posting about the Ragu and Mueller's Pasta deals going on at Publix this week (good through 11/24/11).

Here's a new twist.  I'm going to shop for this deal today and buy Dreamfield's. We recently tried this pasta and love it.  It has more protein and fiber than typical store pasta and it looks and tastes just like "regular" pasta.

Here's the new Dreamfield's twist:

Buy 8 Ragu on BOGO @ $2.29/2

Buy 4 Dreamfield's Pasta  @$1.66 ea.

-Use the Ragu B2G1 Coupon for Buy 2 Ragu, Get 1 Pasta up to $1.75 Off (4 coupons)

Cost = $9.16 for 8 Ragu

Cost = $6.64 for 4 Dreamfield's

Subtotal = $15.80

Minus:  $7 for the Ragu Coupon (rings up at $1.75 each)

Unfortunately we can't use the Dreamfield's coupons because the pastas are already attached to the Ragu B2G1 coupon.  But it is still a great deal for the upgraded Dreamfield's pasta.

Today I picked up as part of my short & sweet visit to Publix 6 Tai Pei Asian entrees from the freezer section.  It wasn't until I was reviewing my register receipt at home that I noticed that the Publix coupon was deducting more than I expected.

• Bought 6 Tai Pei frozen entrees at $2.79 each, regular price = $16.74
• Used 6 Manufacturer coupons for $0.75 each from SS 10/2/11 = subtract $4.50 
• Used 2 Publix yellow advantage flyer coupons for Tai Pei, Buy 2 Get 1 Free = subtract $5.58

But here's the BONUS SAVINGS.  The Publix yellow advantage flyer coupons subtracted $3.69 each instead of $2.79, which is the actual cost of the items.  So that's like having a bonus (or third) coupon for 90¢ off 3 Tai Pei entrees.

Final Price = 81¢ Each
